How it Works
Divorce Coaching is an extremely powerful tool to get you through your divorce with strength, integrity and dignity
How Divorce Coaching works
People struggling with their divorce may opt for traditional counseling and whilst this can be beneficial in many ways, it often keeps you stuck in the story. Divorce Coaching with me focuses on learning techniques to deal with emotions and eventually move forward with your life.
I want to encourage you to escape the feelings of being stuck and trapped in your emotional turmoil and instead embrace your future with the best possible outlook. I understand that every person is different, you will have your own story and your own resources to heal in your own way.
Five Pillars of Divorce Recovery
Together we will explore your own thoughts and feelings and work on your forward journey through five pillars.
What support I can give you as your Divorce Coach
I am able to provide you with self-care practices that are vital for your mental health during this difficult time, which will help you to feel more in control of the situation and help you cope and feel more grounded.
I will walk every part of the divorce path with you, providing you with support and guidance I will provide you with a structured yet supportive approach, helping you to set up a support network and assist you with maintaining open communication and positivity at every point.
I can help with your children and teach you how to break the news of your divorce to your children, how to inform them of the upcoming changes to your family, telling the children what they need to know without apportioning blame. Help you respond to your children’s concerns and questions which will be relevant to each child’s age, and help you to develop a comprehensive parenting plan for your children which is tailored to the needs of your family.
I can help you save costs with your Solicitors. Your Solicitors are there to advise you upon the law and the merits of your case, they are not there to help you manage your emotions. However, they will happily listen to you and how you are feeling, whilst billing you at their hourly rates, but not being able to assist you in managing your emotions and providing you with the confidence you will need to move forward. As (non-practising) Solicitor myself, I understand how these processes work and can therefore give you insights that other coaches may not have.
I will help you to envisage your life and future post-divorce, helping and supporting you to a new life both mentally and emotionally so that you feel more confident both on a personal level and professionally in the workplace.
